Order Processing & Handling
All orders placed through ZC Labs are subject to a processing period of 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays) prior to shipment. During this time, our fulfillment team verifies order details, prepares materials under appropriate handling conditions, and packages each shipment according to our quality assurance standards.
Orders placed after 2:00 PM Eastern Time are typically processed on the following business day. Orders submitted on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next available business day.
Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit Times
ZC Labs ships exclusively within the contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. We currently do not offer international shipping. Available shipping methods are as follows:
- USPS Priority Mail: Estimated 1–3 business days in transit following dispatch.
Transit time estimates begin from the date of confirmed shipment, not the date of order placement. ZC Labs is not responsible for carrier delays beyond our control, including weather events, service disruptions, or high-volume shipping periods.
Shipment Tracking
A tracking number will be emailed to the address associated with your order upon dispatch. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active within the carrier’s system after the initial scan. If you have not received a tracking notification within 3 business days of your order date, please contact our support team at support@zclabs.shop.
Packaging Standards
All orders are professionally packed and sealed according to our quality-control and shipping standards to help maintain product integrity during transit, and dispatched from our U.S. fulfillment facility. Packaging is designed to maintain product integrity throughout the shipping process.
Lost or Missing Packages
If your tracking information shows a package as delivered but you have not received it, please take the following steps before contacting ZC Labs:
- Verify the delivery address on your order confirmation email.
- Check with neighbors, building management, or other household members.
- Allow 24 additional hours, as carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered prior to final delivery.
If a package remains unlocated after 48 hours of the reported delivery date, please contact us at support@zclabs.shop with your order number and tracking information. We will work with the carrier to initiate a trace investigation. Claims for lost packages must be submitted within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives with visible damage to the packaging or contents, please retain all original packaging materials and document the damage with photographs prior to opening. Contact our support team at support@zclabs.shop within 72 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. ZC Labs will evaluate each claim on a case-by-case basis and may issue a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
Return Eligibility
Due to the nature of our products as laboratory-grade research materials, ZC Labs maintains a strict policy regarding returns:
- Unopened, unused items in original, sealed packaging may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery.
- Returns must be pre-authorized by our support team prior to shipment back to our facility.
- Opened, used, or tampered products are not eligible for return.
- Items marked as final sale or purchased during promotional events are not eligible for return.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a verified fulfillment error by ZC Labs.
To initiate a return request, contact support@zclabs.shop with your order number and reason for return. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Refunds
Upon receipt and inspection of an authorized return, ZC Labs will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. ZC Labs reserves the right to assess a restocking fee of up to 15% on returned items. Shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable unless the return is attributable to a fulfillment error on our part.
