Clear Terms for Serious Research

These terms set out the rules for purchasing from ZC Labs. Every product we sell is strictly for in-vitro laboratory and pre-clinical research use. By placing an order you agree to the conditions below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Research Use Only policy, our Privacy Policy, and our Shipping & Returns policy. If you do not agree, do not use this website and do not place an order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age and a qualified researcher, scientific professional, or representative of a licensed research entity to purchase from ZC Labs. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are 21 years of age or older
  • You have the legal authority and capacity to enter into this agreement
  • You will use the products solely for in-vitro and pre-clinical research
  • You have the appropriate equipment, facilities, and training to handle the products safely
  • You are not purchasing on behalf of a person or entity prohibited from receiving them

3. Research Use Only — No Human or Veterinary Use

All products sold by ZC Labs are strictly for in-vitro laboratory and pre-clinical research use only. They are NOT for human consumption, veterinary use, cosmetic use, food, dietary supplement, or any therapeutic or diagnostic application.

The statements made within this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The statements and the products of this company are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. ZC Labs is a chemical supplier — it is not a compounding pharmacy, a chemical compounding facility, or a healthcare provider.

4. Account Registration

To purchase from ZC Labs you must register an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Orders, Pricing & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including (without limitation) orders we believe violate these Terms, our Research Use Only policy, applicable law, or the policies of our payment processors.

  • Pricing: Prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price charged is the price displayed at checkout.
  • Payment: Payment is processed through PCI-DSS compliant third-party processors. We do not store full card data on our servers.
  • Bulk pricing: Volume discounts shown on product pages are applied automatically at the cart level.
  • Coupons: One coupon per order. Coupons are non-transferable and have no cash value.

6. Shipping & Risk of Loss

Shipping terms, transit times, and lost-package handling are governed by our Shipping & Returns policy. Title and risk of loss pass to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier (F.O.B. Origin), except where local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

7. Returns & Refunds

Because our products are research-grade chemical compounds, returns are accepted only in specific cases described in our Shipping & Returns policy. Opened, used, or compromised items cannot be returned for safety, contamination, and chain-of-custody reasons.

8. Customer Acknowledgments & Indemnity

The Customer acknowledges that there are inherent risks in the handling, storage, and use of research chemicals and certifies that the Customer:

  • Has the proper equipment, facilities, and personnel for managing those risks
  • Knowingly accepts those risks
  • Will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Will not transfer, resell, or distribute the products to any party who has not agreed to these Terms

The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ZC Labs, its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from the Customer’s misuse of the products or breach of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, product imagery, and design — is the property of ZC Labs or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The website and the products are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZC Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

In no event shall ZC Labs’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to your use of the website or the products exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim. ZC Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, conducted in Horry County, South Carolina. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THERE ARE RISKS IN THE HANDLING, USE, AND DISTRIBUTION OF THESE PRODUCTS, AND CERTIFIES THAT IT HAS THE PROPER EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES, AND PERSONNEL FOR MANAGING THOSE RISKS; AND THE CUSTOMER KNOWINGLY ACCEPTS THESE RISKS.
